Field trip to Orthodontist
First thing we did was learn about what an Orthodontist is and what one does for their patients. We took a tour of her office.
We got to see how impressions of someone's teeth are made and used to fit braces and retainers.
Each girl then got a plastic vampire teeth set to make their own mold.
The girls were so excited to take their own vampire teeth home with them. They had lots of questions for Dr. Morgan before our tour finished.
Each girl got to take home a Dental Health fun patch for the back of their Girl Scout vest.

Meeting Cancelled
We had planned to do the Daisy Safety Award pin, but will plan that for a meeting in May.
Our next meeting will be a field trip to the orthodontist to learn about dental health. Should be fun!
